Needed: bionic wrists …

I know I’ve talked about the two new urban fantasy series I’m working on –one series is about a spy and the other’s about an assassin.

I had an idea for the second book in the assassin series, so I wrote 8,024 words this weekend, bringing my grand total (so far) up to 20,126. As a result of this flurry of writing, my right wrist is killing me the way it always does when I spend too much time at the computer.

Do you think any editors out there would pay for me to be implanted with some bionic wrists? Just a thought. I’d certainly love to be able to type 5,000 words an hour.

Na-na-na!

I don’t know how true it is, but I read something about a month ago that theorized that wrist and carpal tunnel pain can be obliterated by strengthening your back, neck, and shoulders.

Might be worth a try, no?

Can your brain WRITE 5000 words an hour?

Well, I do pilates and yoga already, which are all about strengthening your body.

I think it’s mostly from where I switch between my computer and work and the one at home. The setup is completely different, but there’s nothing I can do to fix either one of them. Sigh.

Oh, my brain could do 5,000 words an hour — they just wouldn’t be great words. :scooby:

My mother-in-law has carpal tunnel and her doctor recommended vitamin B6 and B12. She swears it works.
Although bionic wrists are just too cool to pass up.
