So far so good …
Okay, just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve got a few more guest blogs set up for this week, and a big event over at Bitten by Books in Feb. 18. After that, I’m done with guest blogs/interviews for a while — or at least until Web of Lies comes out in late May. 😉
I also went ahead and started a Jennifer Estep fan page over at Facebook. Folks can post about my books over there, and I’ll pop in to answer questions and do updates.
So far, I think the release of Spider’s Bite has gone really, really well. Generally speaking, I’ve gotten more e-mails and more interest in this book than for all of my Bigtime books — combined. In the last two weeks, I’ve gotten more positive e-mails from folks who have read and enjoyed the book than I got for any of my Bigtime books. Also, there are already more reviews up at Amazon and B&N for Spider’s Bite than for my Bigtime books. It just seems like folks are more interested in the dark, gritty reads these days. So I’m hopeful that all of this will translate into good sales.
And I just wanted to take a minute to says thanks to everyone who’s read the book and e-mailed me about it or commented on all the blog posts that I’ve been doing. Writing is a hard, lonely business, and knowing that folks are interested in my books really does make it all worthwhile. So thanks everyone! 😉
Woohoo Jennifer! That’s awesome news about SPIDER’S BITE!!! I really loved your Bigtime books so here is a trillion votes from me on how much I liked them! I can’t wait to read SPIDER’S BITE! I have read all the info, snippets and excerpts I can on it and it sounds amazing! I just love Urban Fantasy and can’t wait to get my hands on your book!
I know, you have been everywhere lately! I bet you are tired! How do you keep going?
Many congratulations!!!
Hi, Michele! Thanks for the nice words about the Bigtime books. I hope you enjoy Spider’s Bite as well. 😉
I have been everywhere lately. People are probably sick of me and the book by now. LOL. It’s been a lot of work, but I think it’s been worth it. Time will tell, I guess …
